FITNESS=FUN! Finding the type of exercise that fits you personally not only safe-guards against burn-out, but allows you to have fun and enjoy life possibly more than you did before!

FITNESS requires EXERCISE.

FITNESS requires NUTRITION.

FITNESS requires MOTIVATION.

KNOW YOUR BODY MASS INDEX (BMI)

This will tell you what weight bracket you are in. (normal, overweight, obese) Please keep in mind that people who fall in the normal range of BMI still need exercise in order to be and stay healthy.
Knowing your weight bracket can be a motivating factor in making a change. It also can identify if you are in a risk bracket for certain diseases.

How to calculate your BMI

Multiply your weight in pounds by 704.5. Divide this number by your height in inches squared. An example would be: Tom is 72” tall and weighs 180lbs. To calculate his BMI multiply is body weight (180) by 704.5. The product is 126810. Then figure out his height squared (72x72) =5184. Now divide 126810 by 5184. The total is 24.46. Overweight is a BMI of 25-29.9, obese is a BMI of more than 30. Many people may be surprised to see which bracket they fall in. Don’t let this discourage you. Let it motivate you to Find Your Potential!
