Testimonials

* I recently participated in Hustle The Hancock, a race up the steps of 94 floors of the John Hancock building in Chicago. The event is sponsored by the American Lung Association to bring awareness of the impact of lung disease and as a fund raiser for research. Several months before the race Debora taught me, through diaphragmatic breathing, how to breathe properly and efficiently. I completed the race, using the breathing techniques, with little stress and discomfort in my lungs and with none of the coughing that most others experienced. Diaphragmatic breathing has become almost second nature to me now and I'm finding that my gym workouts are much more productive and efficient. I am looking forward to competing in my 8th half-marathon
in April and to see how the techniques impact that experience. age 65

* I am currently practicing nursing almost 28 years along with being a licensed massage therapist. Along my journey of alternative health, came the exposure to Diaphragmatic Breathing exercises with Debora. This new path is so very beneficial, healing both physically and emotionally. Some of the benefits I’ve experienced from this therapy are strengthening core muscles resulting in less chronic pain, more aware of holding tension in the back and feeling healthier from expelling toxins.
I also practice the art of dressage horseback riding. Diaphragmatic Breathing has made me more aware of my core muscles which help with balance and correct posture. This gives a more intense connection with the horse and in turn gives better communication and a more connected ride. age 50

* Learning the technique of Diaphragmatic Breathing has made me aware of the significance of breath in the quest toward achieving/regaining optimal health and well being. This quest began 10 years ago after a traumatic injury. As a result of partnering my physical therapy treatments with daily, focused Diaphragmatic Breathing practice, I am effectively responding to and managing the stressors that have formerly compromised my health. I am inspired by the experience that something as simple and natural as breath is providing the missing link for me. age 39

*Emotionally, Diaphragmatic Breathing is a great benefit. This therapy is helping open my sense of self to the world. I am more open, confident, relaxed and calm with myself. Negative emotions and toxins are released. When getting stressed out, now I know a key exists that helps maintains the balance. age 50
